  • So, this is Marijuana, right?

No! Hemp is a cannabis sativa plant containing less than 0.3 percent THC, while marijuana is derived from a cannabis sativa plant that contains a much higher concentration of THC.

  • What is CBD and what does it do?

CBD is the abbreviation for cannabidiol. It is a non-intoxicating natural compound extracted from the cannabis sativa (hemp) plant. CBD and other cannabinoids fit receptors of the Endocannabinoid System helping optimize bodily functions. Genetics, brain chemistry & life experience influence individual benefits.

  • Does CBD have any unwanted side effects?

Across a number of controlled & open lab trials of the potential therapeutic effects of CBD, it is generally well tolerated with a good safety profile. It is important to remember that CBD can affect everyone differently and what might happen for one person might not be the same for you. When you first start taking CBD, we recommend to start with a low dose and gradually build up. For more information, give our Dose page a read!

  • What is the Endocannabinoid system?

Discovered in the late 1980’s, the ECS is a complex system of neurotransmitters and receptors located throughout the body responsible for regulating & maintaining the balance of various physiological processes including movement, mood, memory, appetite & pain.

  • What is a full spectrum oil?

A genuine full spectrum product contains all the natural compounds found within the plant. No adding or taking away from what the plant naturally produces offers a balanced product rich in cannabinoids, terpenes & flavonoids.

  • Will I pass a drug test?

oHHo plants do contain small amounts of THC, always under the legal limit of 0.3%. The potential of detecting THC is possible as some drug tests can be very sensitive. We recommend seeking advice from your health professional & HR department prior to purchasing our products.

  • Can I take CBD with other medicine or supplements?

While CBD has proven to be non-reactive with most other drugs and supplements, we recommend consulting your health professional if you have any questions or concerns about incorporating oHHo into your daily regimen.

  • Is CBD safe to take if pregnant?

There is no comprehensive research studying the effects of CBD on the developing fetus, pregnant mother, or breastfed baby. Due to this the FDA strongly advises against the use of cannabidiol (CBD), tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) & other cannabinoids in any form during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

  • What tests do you carry out on your products?

Every batch of oHHo hemp is processed & tested, in-house and with 3rd parties, for purity and potency. Each product contains a QR code that links directly to the analysis of each batch.
Actual tests: Cannabinoid Profile and Potency/ Terpene Profile & Potency/ Elemental (Heavy Metals) Analysis/ Microbiological  contaminants/ Pollutants

  • What steps do you take to reduce impact on the environment?

We use small scale farming methods that allows for a more human & less industrial farming process, producing crop abundance without depleting the earth's resources or polluting the environment. Everything but our dropper [we're working on it] is eco-friendly, recyclable, & regeneratively or sustainably-produced.

  • Is Full Spectrum CBD safe?

The World Health Organization (WHO) recognizes that hemp is generally well tolerated with a good safety profile. Reported adverse effects may be as a result of drug-drug interactions, between hemp and patients’ existing medications. CBD is non-toxic, non-addictive and there is no evidence of recreational use of hemp or any public health-related problems associated with the use of full spectrum hemp extract.

  • Is oHHo legal?

The 2018 Farm Bill made hemp derived products federally legal across the whole of the United States. However, Arizona, Idaho, Nebraska, South Dakota and Texas have not fully adopted this law change. Across the rest of the world, the legal landscape regarding CBD is rapidly evolving. We recommend that everyone in our community checks the status of laws surrounding CBD in the country to which they are traveling. Europe and the UK allow CBD with varying levels of THC content, while destinations in Asia and the Middle East, among others, continue to regard CBD as an illegal substance. Before traveling with oHHo, we strongly recommend checking the law and exercising discretion. For more information regarding domestic travel, click here.

  • Is oHHo expensive?

We pack a lot of CBD into our bottles because quality should never be sacrificed for cost. Each 15mL bottle contains 60 effective doses (between 10-25mg), and each 30mL bottle contains 120 effective doses. We provide only the best possible hemp extract grown in the best possible way, extracted cleanly and tested by independent laboratories every time. We are not here to drive profit for profits sake—we wouldn’t be charging $85-$150 if we thought our oil wasn’t the real deal.  But everyone is different and CBD effects everyone differently, so if you are not 100% satisfied with our product, we’ll honor a full refund. Please refer to our returns policy for further detail.
