Unsurprisingly, our first hemp strain owes its name to the region of the Catskills where it is organically grown. The Catskills is a physiographic province of the larger Appalachian Mountains, located in southeastern New York. Created out of a blend of Cannatonic and Astral Works, NEW YORK has a CBD content of around 13 percent and a distinctly herby aroma. Due to this herb’s strong resemblance to basil, many users have sprinkled NEW YORK into pasta sauces with great effect. The spicy notes in NEW YORK make it great for cooking or an energizing smoke.
