Intro to THC
THC is the molecule that was prohibited, making all cannabis illegal.
Hemp is cannabis that contains less than < 0.3% THC
Marijuana is cannabis that contains more than > 0.3% THC
Since 2018 the cultivation and processing of hemp has been federally legal and hemp based CBD and THC products are allowed to contain up to 0.3% THC.
THC from hemp is the same, naturally occurring, molecule as THC from marijuana there’s just a lot more of it in Marijuana. Our hemp plants look identical to marijuana plants, with abundant flowers covered in scented, sticky trichomes.
THC from hemp or marijuana has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-nausea and muscle relaxant effects as well as being intoxicating.
